New Year’s Eve 2010 is just around the corner. Time to start making those plans to ring in the new year in grand style. Smyrna Bowling Center is ready to break out the party hats and the noise makers and do this thing right!

Always a very social event, we are looking forward to the festive occasion. This year we have two different party rates depending on which part of the evening you would like to add some bowling to your New Years Eve celebration plans.

The Early Bird Party will start at 6:30 PM and run til 10:00 PM. The cost will be $75 per lane, and with that price will be included your Bowling, your Shoes & Fun Prizes. After 10:00 PM when the Early Bird Party-goers depart, we clean up and get ready for the Over Night Party.

Starting at 10:30 PM, we open back up for the main event, the Over Night Party. $100 gets your lane for the big New Years Eve blast. Included are you Bowling & Shoes, Party Favors and even MORE FUN PRIZES!

Bring up to seven of your friends for a total of 8 to a lane and ring in 2010 with us in style! We look forward to seeing you then.

SIDENOTE: If your planning on joining us overnight I would suggest that you go ahead and stop by and reserve your lane now for Dec. 31st we will be sold out. Need volunteers

I am giving everyone an update on the fund raiser for the Heart of Tennessee Red Cross Chapter. We have changed the price of the bowling for this event. The prices are as follows. $3.00 for children per game and $4.00 per game for adults plus shoe rental. We are going to give half of all money raised on bowling and shoes to the Red Cross so make plans to come out and have some fun for a great cause! I have confirmed that the firetruck, firehouse from the Town of Smyrna will be coming along with the Dare officers, K-9 unit, D.J., Karaoke, inflatable, dunking booth, airbrush tattoo artist, O'Charleys will be bring their mobile kitchen, games, P.A.W.S, and much much much more. What I am needing now from the people of our great town is volunteers and items donated for the silent auction. Also O'Charleys is only going to donate one case of small burgers and buns so I would like for those with a group or church to come forward and donate food items to sell to raise money. If you or your group can help please email me at bearroller9640@yahoo.com.

Also we will be selling wristbands for all events except for food and airbrush artist for $5.00 for unlimited play outside. Remember one game and shoes will be $10.00 as well. Food will be sold through the mobile kitchen and all money will be donated. So come on Smyrna stand up and help with this event!

Fund raiser update for RED CROSS!

As the month of April comes and goes and we get ready for the month of May, I am working hard on a fund raiser for the Red Cross, Rutherford county chapter. I have secured a dunking machine that is provided by the La Vergne Lions Club, also an airbrush tattoo artist, A d.j. spinning 70's music, Smyrna fire dept will be bringing a firetruck, and our very own congressman Bart Gordon is going to try to attend this event. What I need from the people of Northern Rutherford county is things for donation to the silent auction. I am also needing volunteers to help with getting things together plus help out the day of the fund raiser. anyone want to work the dunking booth would be great too! Our state is known as the Volunteer state so Smyrna and La Vergne step up and lets make this event one to remember. Feel free to comment here or email me at bearroller9640@yahoo.com.

UPDATE: I have now reserved an inflatable from spacewalk of Murfreesboro and they also own Cox martial arts which they are donating a gift cert for 6 months of martial arts class valued at $650. this is a great item for our silent auction!

If your interested in donating or volunteering to help me with this please email me from the link to the right of this site, or call the bowling center from 11pm till 7am weekly. I know that everyone from the county will come out and help with this event to show that do care about our neighbors!

Let's make this one of the biggest event in town this year!! The Red Cross helps with many that are in need of help. Fires, floods, and tornados so lets show our support and help raise money!

Update: the reason we are dong this....

The David Price Benefit has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Smyrna Bowling Center. The benefit is to raise money for an endowment college fund at Blackman High in memory of Nathan Stephens.
